STAGE COMBAT & INTIMACY DESIGNChristina Gorman began her stage intimacy and combat choreography career with 2013's HAPPY NOW for Shattered Globe, and has since gone on to create fights and/or intimacy staging for over 20 productions at theaters including Steppenwolf, A Red Orchid, Steep, Northlight, Griffin, Lifeline and Shattered Globe.
In addition to studying under lauded stage combat instructors such as Richard Ryan, Roger Bartlett, Neil Massey, Patrick Kelly, Nick Sandys Chuck Coyl, and John Tovar, Christina has received her SAFD certifications in Unarmed combat, Knife, Small Sword, Single Sword, Quarterstaff, Broadsword and Shield, and Rapier and Dagger. Christina also completed a prestigious IDC (the Intimacy Directors and Coordinators Association) stage intimacy workshop where she studied with industry leaders such as Ashley White, Dan Granke, Adam Noble, and has taken a 1 day workshop with IDC Executive Director Tonia Sina. |
